CHESTER PATCHWORKERS AND QUILTERS WEBSITE
As my first freelance web design project (2026), I worked with the committee of Chester Patchworkers and Quilters to redesign their website, reflecting the group's current brand identity. A key aspect of this project was to improve the website's overall architecture and accessibility, providing a more accessible user journey, and driving greater traffic to the site.
I worked directly with the Chester P's and Q's team to understand their aspirations for the website, its overall purpose, and target user. From this point, I began prototyping in WordPress, blocking out clear sections for content. As part of this process, I used the Elementor plugin to further customise the website and its interactions, allowing for easy navigation. The finalised website contains a Home page, About section, calendar of group events, and access to a monthly newsletter.
